EyeClops Night Vision Infared Stealth Goggles V2

December 8th, 2009

Finally, a gift for the kids and the Dads!  We dreamed of being able to see in the dark as children.  Now we can, and with the kids, what a perfect gift for you both.  Just think of all the excitement and maybe even a little trouble you and little Johnny can have.

The EyeClops Night Vision Goggles come equipped with working infrared technology and a range up to 50 feet.  The dual-eye LCD displays amazing clear pictures of what goes “bump” in the dark.  An added feature is the Stealth Mode that makes you “invisible” by removing the light that is emitted by the binoculars.

Don’t delay on this one, as all the kids and your friends will be talking about this for months to come…

LeapFrog Tag Reading System

December 8th, 2009

The 2009 Educational Toy of the Year Award Winner!  The LeapFrog Tag Reading System will make an excellent toy for your children this year.

The Tag Reader is shaped like a pen and the touch technology encourages a child’s love of reading as words talk, pictures sing and stories live out loud. The pen will hold 10 books and there are currently over 30 books in the Tag Reading System library and it will continue to grow as LeapFrog constantly adds new books.

There are symbols throughout the books that cause the pen (Reader) to read the whole page, play a game, prompt your child to answer “yes” or “no” questions, and more.  If children want to read on their own but need just a little help, they can simply point to a word on the page and it will let them hear just that word.

3 of the top movies of 2009.  Kids and adults alike will love watching these together.

UP – By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure – Tinker Bell journeys far North of Never Land to patch things up with her friend Terence and restore a Pixie Dust Tree.

Monsters vs. Aliens – When a meteorite from outer space hits a young woman and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years.

Vtech Kidizoom Plus Pink Digital Camera

December 6th, 2009

camera

During the holidays, all parents enjoy taking pictures.  In my house, the kids see this and want to also take pictures.  Here’s the problem, do I really want my 2 1/2 year old holding a $400 camera?  She has trouble not dropping a sippy cup…

This year, my concerns have been erased.  Now comes the Vtech Kidizoom Digital Camera.  Its rugged, rubber-grip is designed for heavy use.  The kids will find the colorful and clearly marked buttons easy to use.  It also comes with TV or PC connector cables so everyone can enjoy the kids pictures as soon as they are taken.

Imagine what fun it will be to look back at the Christmas pictures from 2009 and see both Mom’s and little Sally’s shots of the Christmas Tree and more…

Zhu Zhu Pets are Now Available

December 5th, 2009

One of the hottest toys for 2009 is Zhu Zhu Pets. These are the latest entry in the “robotic pet” category, following Furbys, Neopets, etc. They are hamsters and are much cheaper and cleaner than real hamsters.

For the quality, these are fairly inexpensive pets, although you can start spending a lot on batteries. And playsets for these little guys to run around in.

Each of the robotic hamsters has a different personality. They make cute noises and respond to human touch. As with most mechanical animals, they will move better on hard surfaces rather than carpet.

Personalized Package from Santa

December 5th, 2009

Thanks to modern technology, it is easy to get your children a personalized letter and other gifts from Santa himself!

As a parent, you know how important it is to maintain the Santa deception with your children. Do you want them to find out now that you have been lying to them all these years? Of course not. By the way, there are no age limits on this offer.

There are a lot of places where you can order these kinds of letters, and what they do is just insert your kids name into a form letter. This one is a lot better, because you can also get the opportunity to insert additional details only “Santa” would know about them.

All you have to do is choose from three different packages. The Gold package has the letter, a special North Pole Return Address label, gold foil shipping label (addressed to your child), a genuine North Pole postage stamp, and a money-back 60-day guarantee.

The Silver package adds to that a “nice list certificate” (suitable for framing), an autographed photo of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and a custom letter from Rudolph.

The highest level is the Platinum package, which includes everything above, PLUS a collector’s piece of Santa’s suit, Magic North Pole Snow, and a collector’s tin of Genuine Reindeer Food.

They have special pricing that may change as we get closer to Christmas, so you should get over there and order right now.

Amazon’s Kindle

December 4th, 2009

kindle

For the reader in your life, its the Kindle from Amazon.  This will be the hottest gift of 2009.  It truly is changing the way people “read”.

What can I say, I was always a naysayer, until I was given one for my birthday in July.  After my first book read, my only thought was “why did I wait soo long?”.

It’s easy to use, lightweight, quick delivery, and huge selection made it the perfect travel companion when I traveled overseas for work.  I was more than a little proud, when I pulled out my Kindle as the woman next to me was fumbling with her 400 + pager and dropped her bookmark…
